At the emmtec industry & Businesspark in Emmen we have a selection of means of transport and various warehouses with a total surface area of thousands of square meters. Our logistics centre coordinates all incoming and outgoing shipments and handles document processing. This takes a great deal of work off your hands.
Furthermore, we execute all these activities as sustainably as possible. Our efforts in this area have earned us a Lean and Green Star.
List of services Logistics
Warehousing
Our warehouses, amounting to more than 100,000 m2 of floor space, are used for (bulk) product storage. The products are stored on the floor, on racks or in pallet shuttle systems. We also manage product put-away and product retrieval.
Warehousing chemicals
Environmentally hazardous substances require special storage facilities. So we have a Chemicals Warehouse. This warehouse satisfies PGS 15 guidelines. Optimum safety is guaranteed.
Silo complex
We have ten bulk silos available for storing bulk products. This ensures that your logistic process runs as efficiently as possible. If required, we also load products into silo trucks and pack the products in a range of packaging types and sizes via our mobile packing lines.
Value-added logistics
Product labelling, (stretch) wrapping, weighing, packing and repacking, scanning, sealing: all these activities are part of the logistics process. So we arrange this for you as well. Along with cycle counting (if required), interfacing, cargo handling, administration and documentation. We are an accredited air cargo agent and AEO-certified.
Recycling
We consider sustainability to be very important. So we offer services to help you reduce your ecological food footprint. We do so by collecting packaging materials and recycling them.
Internal transport
Transport activities should be as efficient as possible. So we operate a range of materials handling equipment and vehicles such as tractor-trailer units, tractor units that pull trolleys, forklift trucks, delivery vehicles and automatic loading and unloading systems. We use the item of equipment that best satisfies your transport needs.
Tank & Industrial cleaning
Plant, machines, tanker trucks and silo trucks have to be cleaned thoroughly and at the right time. We can carry out all forms of tank and industrial cleaning for you. We work with state-of-the-art equipment and materials, clean plant and machine components on site and have special cleaning lines for tanker trucks and silo trucks. We are a member of ATCN, the industry association for tank cleaning companies in the Netherlands, and an ATCN-accredited Tank Cleaning Company & Authorised Issuer of the European Cleaning Document.
